Nandhi is always positioned facing God Shiva traditionally. This statue was facing Darbhar (Royal court) inside the palace complex which housed temples as well.

I obviously love to shoot candid shots when people love to be photographed. Thought about leaving this photo in color to show the bright colors used in the posters but I liked the BW rendition overall.
