Lalitpur living Godess (Kumari) in her throne, Lalitpur, Kathmandu, Nepal — I have read a bit about Nepal’s tradition of selecting a Kumari (a living Goddess) for their worship and meeting one of such Kumari was a very soulful and unique experience during my trip to Nepal and Tibet. One of several ways to be in touch with divine I guess. I still remember the vibrant red color that was present and I am glad with this shot that has brought some of that vibrancy.
