What exactly are the different colored powders used for?

These powders are used to make an art of pattern/diagrams in front of homes every morning, Jerry. It can be made with white powdered lines but people would add colors and make them lively. Some would place flowers too. It’s called Rangoli in northern India, Kolam in Tamil Nadu. Cheers.
