So good to see that you have got an opportunity to experience Kathakali!
I am from Kerala and Kathakali is one of the most interesting performing art in the world.
It takes over five years of training for one to perform Kathakali on stage.
We have another incredible artform, named Thayyam, but that’s more of a ritualistic folk artform and not a performing art form!

Thanks a lot, Sreejith for your comments. I would love to watch this performed in Kerala one day. I heard about Thayyam but didn’t have any chance to see it. It’s always sad we tend to lose some arts over the time.
