I grew up on a lake, these sweet little flies would land on me while hanging out at the lakeshore, or on the boats. So cute.

Oh yes indeed. Those were the happiest years of my childhood, maybe my life! Whenever I get up to Michigan, i try to find time to drive back to the old neighborhood. Such wonderful, fond memories of times with family and friends.

Very beautiful! I discovered dragonflies last year and just love photographing them. Now I look for new species that I have not yet identified in the area. Dragonflies are so fascinating.
