Balinese temple architecture is unique and I love how the gates are shaped. The temple was busy as it’s popular but I managed to see this woman alone, offering prayers.

This sculpture was hidden among the encroachments but revealed once they’re cleared recently. It’s a rare sculpture depicting the mythical story where Lord Shiva slayed a demon that came in the form of elephant. This Puthu Mandapam was built during the early 1620 CE Nayak rule.

This palace was built mostly with red bricks nearly 400 years ago in 1600s. Had withstood a few tests of time and earthquakes.
