It was beautiful blue sky and the gurdwara (temple) was glistening in the Sun, at the middle of the holy pool (sarovar). As like any gurdwara, they welcome everyone here without asking about one’s identity.

These mountains have the sandstones from which the Cambodian temples like Angkor Wat were constructed. I am drawn to this mountain top which gives a beautiful view.

It was outskirts of the town filled with dwellings of working class people but it occured to someone there to have a statue for one of the greatest modern tamil poet, Mahakavi Bharati, however modest and haphazardly done with the cement, it was still a wonderful sight.
