What exactly does a parrot astrologer do? And is a parrot involved?

Hi Jerry, he would have a pack of cards, each with probably some God/Goddess or pictures of some mythological scenes. Once the cards are stacked, he will invite the parrot, inform the parrot the name/details of the client, and would ask the parrot to pick a card. It would get a few grains in return. The astrologer would then interpret the chosen card to his client. The parrot will usually shuffle a few cards before it picks one – the longer the parrot deliberate, it would create an air of expectation.
